Kumusha banner

Kumusha seeks to connect two worlds through art. To promote a shared sense of belonging to each other and the homes of the owner, and to foster a love and appreciation of African art and culture.

Kumusha seeks to bring together two seemingly disconnected worlds through art. 'Kumusha' means 'homeland' in Shona, her mother tongue, and embodies the ideas of connection, belonging, and identity.

About the
Professional

Having had a keen interest in visual arts since I was a child, I drew the world around me until I picked up a camera to photograph it instead. After a week long stint as an intern in high school I enrolled at university to continue developing my interest in visual arts and mainly in photography.

After graduating with a Masters degree I moved from Belgium to New Zealand, which has been my home for the past 12 years. Wherever I go, my camera comes with me. From Europe to Australia, Africa to South America, I use my camera to document and interact with the world around me.

I like to push for the best to create images that fulfil my clients needs. Specialising in Commercial, Portrait and Performance photography, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a variety of clients across different industries.
