About the
Professional

Northern Exposure Photography is based in the beautiful Bay of Islands. I am Graham Murphy, the business owner and photographer behind Northern Exposure. I moved to Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands in January 2016 after a 14 & ½ year career with the New Zealand Police where I had been engaged in the specialist roles of a Forensic Crime Scene Examiner and a Forensic Photographer.

In addition to the extensive training and experience I have from my time as a Forensic Photographer I am also a Photography Institute Graduate as well as an Accredited Member and Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography.

My work now is primarily as a commercial photographer specialising in property photography for Architects, Builders, Interior Designers, Real Estate Agencies, Hospitality and Accommodation suppliers.
