We have delivered two design and fit outs for Mugen Sushi in Christchurch in the last two years. Each site is unique but embraces similar design elements to provide a cohesive and familiar environment for their customers.

The key feature of the first site is the stunning 10-metre-long counter with cantilevered solid timber work. The challenge was to build the counter in sections that could be moved to site easily but look like one seamless work of art was installed which was achieved with some clever in-house collaboration.  

Behind the scenes the main site contains a commercial kitchen that serves this restaurant and the satellite stores. Our challenge was to install an extraction system to wind though the multi-level building to the roof.  Using our network of experts, we installed a state-of-the-art system that perfectly balances fresh air, restaurant ambient temperature while extracting cooking smells. All very quietly.
