168 WindowMaster WMU 836-2 Chain actuators are used, with two actuators operating each window. WindowMaster actuators are equipped with true synchronisation between actuators mounted on the same window, they also have a soft close function to prolong the lifespan of window gaskets. These actuators also come complete with stainless steel chain and stainless steel brackets. Programmable parameters are also available to ensure correct stroke, force and speed are used to suit the window size and fit within project requirements

WMU 836 Chain drives are controlled via 10 WindowMaster WSC 320 PLUS Smoke control panels. These panels come complete with an internal touch screen for configuring inputs, outputs and grouping actuator circuits. These panels are extremely flexible and in this installation they include:

• 72 hours battery backup
• Fault output to the BMS
• External panel fault buzzer
• Link to a phase failure relay
• Link to Fire Alarm system

Ongoing maintenance is made easier via the touch screen that flags any problems on the system that need attention and checks the batteries are operating correctly.
