North Avon Road
The brief for these twin townhouses was for maintenance free luxury. Being situated on a tight 350m2 site, stretching from boundary to boundary created various challenges for the team to overcome throughout the project.
The houses were originally designed with cedar gables but there was a pivot mid-way through the design process to something more timeless and robust. With a nod to the devastated old buildings of the Christchurch earthquakes, the result was the reclaimed red bricks.
