The home is situated in the picturesque rolling hills overlooking Duvauchelle Bay with the large hills of Banks Peninsular flanking behind. The alteration now creates a clear juxtaposition between the original 1950’s bungalow and it’s awkward 1990’s addition. The 1950’s home with its strong influence of state housing is now modernised and rationalised. The 1990’s addition has been transformed into a homage to rural buildings. Together they combine to create a true Kiwi aesthetic.

I cut my teeth in the high speed world of real estate photography in London.
Now specialising in interior and architectural photography.
I've always had a passion for architecture, its form, function, abstraction and strong lines; never been very interested in curves.
Capturing old classic buildings, modern spacious designs or a pleasing mix of the two.
I enjoy collaborating with other creatives, designers and architects, to bring out the best in a project. Either working to a brief, or helping create it, I'm very open minded.
Nothing beats a sunny, late afternoon shoot then a cold beer as a reward.
