The fit-out of The Sugar Club in Auckland's Skytower was designed by leading architects, Jasmax. It was inspired by the art deco interiors in the Italian film "I am love". It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase Metalier's versatility - from the steel front doors to cute little MDF shelves for vases of flowers or other ornaments.  Metalier finishes coated the walls in the bar area, totally encased the private dining room, and were even seen in the bathroom portals. The portals offer a great lookout at the view while you wash your hands.

Be captivated by the clever use of brass in The Sugar Club
Come on into The Sugar Club's fine dining interior.
The magnificent steel doors that open into the restaurant. The door on the left is created with glass and MDF and the result is moody and sultry.
The magnificent entry door to The Sugar Club is mild steel coated with a Metalier polished brass finish. The protective clear coat is gloss. The handles on the door are sheet brass. They meld perfectly with Metalier's brass coating.
The Bar area of The Sugar Club features the Metalier entrance doors and the glass and MDF doors that lead to the bathrooms. The supports in the wine display racks are Metalier too.
