Comprehensive soft landscaping for Sydney Metro Northwest, featuring nearly 1 million plants and 5,000 mature trees across 8 train stations and 3 stabling yards, completed in collaboration with Marsupial Landscape Management for long-term landscape success.
In early in 2019, Glascott completed the entire soft landscaping package on Sydney’s largest public infrastructure project – Sydney Metro Northwest.
Working across 8 new train stations and 3 stabling yards over 2 year period, our team installed and maintained nearly 1 million plants and around 5,000 mature trees, importing 48,057m3 of soil, and hauling and placing 91,930m3 site soil and 276,590 m2 hydroseeding.
Glascott’s sister business and landscape asset management specialists, Marsupial Landscape Management, worked alongside us to maintain the newly built landscapes. They also provided 12 months of post-construction warranty maintenance to establish growth and long-term success of landscapes along the new 7-kilometer rail corridor.
