Sylvia Park is the largest regional shopping centre in New Zealand. It is sited on 24 hectares near Mt Wellington, just off the junction of the Southern Motorway and Eastern Arterial Highway, 10 kilometres south of Auckland’s CBD.

Sylvia Park has 180 retail stores anchored by three major flagship stores – The Warehouse, Pak’nSave and Countdown. It features a state-of-the-art Hoyts Cinema complex and a large business centre.

The shopping and entertainment complex has more than 3000 car parks – the most of any shopping centre in New Zealand – and even has its own station on the Auckland suburban train network.

ColorCote pre-painted metal roofing and cladding was chosen for a large proportion of the roofing and exterior cladding of the retail precincts and entertainment complex.

ColorCote pre-painted systems are available in a wide variety of colours (including metallics) and provide excellent corrosion resistance and colour and gloss retention.

ColorCote systems were also used for interior cladding – not only for its stunning design possibilities but also to enhance interior lighting.
