Te Puna Kindergarten - Bay of Plenty, New Zealand

Website

Due to a major roading project the kindergarten needed to relocate, so have now rebuilt in a development with views out to Matakana and the Kaimai Ranges. The design and materials of the build were all carefully considered by Designer Andrew Ward of Mod Architecture - providing a contrasting palette of natural textures for the early childhood centre.

Andrew carefully selected materials for their non-toxic, chemical free, low VOC, sustainability and end of life properties ensuring a building that is sustainable, safe and as chemical free as possible - choosing Abodo’s eco-timber for the kindergarten’s exterior Tundra Cladding and Vulcan Decking.
