Wesley Church apartment conversion - Formerly Wesley Church located in Petone, built in 1883.
The exterior scheme for this unique project required careful selection of historic colours highlighting the beautiful lancet windows, intricate details of the Church facade whilst ensuring a seamless blend between ‘old and new’. DBI’s role was to create three distinct interiors to sit against the backdrop of the retained historical features. This involved the selection of the following items: kitchen & bathroom materials, timber profiles & door detailing, hardware, flooring, timber stains, colour and lighting. Inspired by the restored stained glass windows, we sourced beautiful French mosaic tiles to add the final touch to the entry halls!
