This home belongs to a discerning interior designer who's main request was functionality. The potential for expansion was strictly limited in this kitchen - it could not be built further than an existing doorway, therefore I had to be clever with the space I had available to me.
I used white lacquered cabinets, Corian bench tops, glass and lacquered timber to create a slick, practical design. The fridge and pantry are integrated into the wall. Negative timber detail set into the cabinetry provides a cohesive thread that ties the space together. I carried this through to the family room using the same for their unit I designed.
