This project was a fantastic opportunity to design the air conditioning and ventilation systems throughout the hotel for an HVAC installation company who had won the contract. What made this project unique was that the building used to be the Reserve Bank. The 2 levels of basement which originally were the vaults presented particular challenges as the concrete structure was considerable which caused restrictions for the placement of pipework and units. The basement swimming pool ventilation also presented challenges to maintain the integrity of the architect's design while providing practical solutions for the heating and ventilation and condensation control within the pool space. Air conditioning was also provide for the guestrooms, restaurants and roof top bar.

Overall this was a an exciting project to design and we are proud of the results-the roof top bar is a must visit for an after work cocktail!
