A Creative Solution for an Appealing Workspace

In the ever-expanding Sydney Olympic Park precinct, Charter Hall required a speculative fitout that was conscious of the budget, within a quick turnaround time and that would appeal to prospects.

Requiring a commercial office supplier who had in-stock inventory levels, competitive pricing and quick turnaround times with production and installation, Alpha Nobis, in conjunction with commercial interior design company, Glasgow Hart, engaged Infinity Commercial Furniture for the project.

In partnership with Glasgow Hart, ICF went with solutions that were aesthetically pleasing and functional. The continuous use of black and white tones, along with walnut and beech timber, provided cost-effective symmetry throughout.

This is evident upon entry into the office’s waiting/reception area and, to its immediate right, the adjoining meeting room. This is the first sight that black will be used throughout: with the framed door leading into the meeting room; the base of the waiting room Blaze coffee table; top part of the frame of the Envy Meeting Table, with eight Miles Meeting Chairs; and the striking tall pot plants.

Providing touches of class and colour are a pair of Sys Visitor Chairs in blue house fabric seated around the Blaze Coffee Table, with Polytec Notaio Walnut Top. This top finish continues in the meeting room on the Envy Black Timber Boardroom Table.

Black continues into the workspace area and is now partnered with white. The workspace is functional and practical. Nineteen Envy Workstations, with black angled legs and white tops, are adorned with light grey Echo Panel Screens. The rows are capped with black Sliding and Tambour Door storage units. Each workstation is accompanied with Barrett Task Chairs. These workstations are replicated in the hot desking area: with a single row version running along the wall.

The same theme of Envy Black and Timber Legs with white tops is continued in the neighbouring executive office and meeting room. A liner feel is created with Paige 4-Star Swivel Base Chairs in light grey house fabric used in both rooms.

In the breakout/kitchen area, the versatility of the of the Envy leg system is on display with the timber variant used for the bar height collaboration and black steel legs for the paired down square table. Practical seating options are provided with durable, easy-to-clean Agata Sled Base Stools and Sienna polypropylene chairs.

The continuous use of black and white tones, along with the versatile Envy leg system, provides a sleek, modern look throughout the entire floor space. A creative solution for an appealing workspace.
