Building or renovating your dream kitchen can be a costly exercise, and often requires balancing style and cost. A locally-owned and operated company believes they’ve found a solution with products that are both affordable and on-trend.

Many interior designers talk about the working triangle: a practical zone in a kitchen where there’s easy access to the fridge, sink and oven. Of course, there is also the rangehood, cooktop and dishwasher.

With so many styles available today, it can be difficult to choose a set of appliances that meet the household’s needs, are timeless in design and don’t stretch the budget. Managing director at Eurotech Design, Sophia Bristow, believes the company has found a solution.

Designer appliances offering value to everyday Kiwis

“The Eurotech brand is now a fully-fledged brand. It's a single brand that covers appliances in refrigeration, cooking, ventilation, and the laundry,” shares Sophia. “For someone that loves all the same brand matching in their household, Eurotech is one that can offer you this solution.”

When undergoing a kitchen project, Sophia advises homeowners to consider investing in a complete package as this can be helpful further down the track with all products having the same start date.

However, while purchasing multiple kitchen and laundry appliances at the same time might seem like it would push budget boundaries, this isn’t necessarily the case.

“For someone who is replacing something, or renovating the kitchen, the first thing they would tend to lock in is the oven, and then they will go and choose the hob and they will choose the ventilation and then sometimes extend that to a dishwasher. So either three or four items would be part of that spending consideration,” says Sophia.

“The affordability of Eurotech branded appliances makes this possible. If someone is doing their laundry they might want a washing machine or dryer. So then what happens is they may want to replace the whole set.”

Timeless black design

Ticking the boxes of affordability and design aesthetic is Eurotech Design’s own line of appliances – Eurotech – available in a range of sleek, timeless finishes, including stainless steel, white and black.

“The black definitely talks to the design aspect and timelessness. It's not a new trend, it's been around for at least five years,” says Sophia.

Various sized products make it easy to achieve a cohesive fitout, with stylish wine and beverage fridges on offer to bring a touch of premium to the everyday kitchen.

“Now that we can go out and enjoy a bit of social life, bringing those experience home especially around cooking and home entertainment with affordable appliances, is important to our happiness.

“There are also CAD drawings available that make it easy for specifiers to work with their clients,” says Sophia, who hopes that this will enable more homeowners to embark on creating their ideal kitchens that are practical, stylish and affordable.
