JMC Build love working with bespoke materials.
Architects frequently request an artisanal element to enhance their designs. Often these will have been inspired by a particular background story their client has shared.
Our entire team are competent and experienced in going that extra mile when working with specialist materials. A bespoke element is much more than just the material.
It is about knowing the substance. Knowing the right pattern or process, results in any material being presented in its best light.
Our current favourite has to be the Engineered European Oak we used to floor a stunning wine cellar. The floor is reminiscent of 19th century Parisian cobblestones.
Another would have to be the exotic timbers and beams we work with.
Recycled and rejuvenated pieces from the past are always a firm fave.
Imagine 200-year-old railway sleepers rescued from the wreckers, machined-up and re-purposed as floating stair treads.
Dare to dream, and we will bring it to life for you!
