Our aim is to create high-quality seating with a significantly reduced carbon footprint - emission reductions, which we pass on to our customers looking to lower their own environmental impact.
Our holistic approach takes into consideration every aspect of the environment – from the materials we use to the way we manufacture our designs, the conditions our employees work in, and the full lifespan of our products.
We are eager to share our ideas about making the right seating choices to lower your footprint.

Find out how we can help lower your carbon emissions when designing your next workspace.
We are constantly increasing the amount of recycled plastic, aluminium, and steel we use. Recycled materials are almost always less energy intensive to make when compared to virgin materials, and using them consumes more waste than it creates. Both of these factors lower our reliance on natural resources, safeguarding the future of our planet.
We also avoid using toxic materials which makes conditions in our factories healthier and significantly reduces the amount of chemicals released by our furniture into your workspace environment (VOCs). This helps to lower the amount of pollution resulting from our manufacturing process, promoting the health of our customers and the environment.
Flokk furniture is made for the long run, precision engineered to the highest quality at our various facilities, coming with up to a 10-year warranty as standard. Durable and designed for disassembly, we design our furniture to last even longer, with worn components easily repaired or replaced, even upholstery.
What this means for our customers is high performance seating they can trust for many years without the need for costly replacements, lowering the overall cost of ownership.
In 2022, the value of 89% of all purchased materials used in production at our three main production facilities were sourced from Europe and nearly 50% within Scandinavia itself, reducing emissions from lengthy transportation. 100% of our suppliers must also sign a code-of-conduct contract ensuring healthy and happy workers' conditions of our suppliers. We also do a lot of tooling in-house, reducing the need for external manufacturing partners, and allowing us to make components using renewable energy.
This gives us greater flexibility when it comes to maintaining a supply of spare parts. It also means our manufacturing and transport operations are less influenced by external global factors, ensuring reliable delivery times to our customers.
The result of this approach is furniture with a substantially lower carbon footprint than average, without a reduction in quality, comfort, and performance.
In fact, many of our top-selling designs have ISO 14025 Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), documents that allow you to see exactly what our products are made of and what their carbon footprint is, allowing you to make sustainable choices for your purchase.
