GreenStuf® continues to support the market with CPD presentations and free H1 calculations to the new building code.

To make buildings warmer, drier, healthier, and more energy-efficient, MBIE has increased the minimum insulation levels for roofs, windows, walls and floors for new housing and small buildings. GreenStuf® continues to lead the market with intensive research, leaning on relationships with key stakeholders—they now offer a detailed CPD presentation with NZIA, ADNZ and LBP accreditation—this supports their free H1 calculations for specifiers.

MBIE’s changes to clause H1 Energy Efficiency took effect on 29th November 2021, with a transition period of one year ending 3rd November 2022. These changes are driven by improving the thermal performance of buildings in addition to reducing the carbon emissions the sector creates. The improved standards provide an opportunity to design good, better and best options for your clients depending on their location–the new regulations have split Aotearoa into six climate zones instead of three.

The CPD presentation provides an overview of:

  • Change in climate zones
  • Pathways for compliance
  • Increased thermal resistance of the building envelope
  • Design considerations for best practice
  • GreenStuf® solutions

The CPD presentation can be booked online. Click here to register now.
