Interiors Australia & DENFAIR Partner Up with Global GreenTag International to Highlight Australia’s Best Eco Products

Interiors Australia, the interior design & architecture show, coincides with DENFAIR, the high-end contemporary furniture & lighting fair, to present the largest and most comprehensive design event for the world of interiors. Global GreenTag International have partnered to enhance the experience for their members, attendees and the industry as a whole. Global GreenTag makes it easy for specifiers and buyers to recognise the best in healthy eco-products, helping green product manufacturers and suppliers succeed.

Scheduled to run from 10-12 February 2022 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, Interiors Australia & DENFAIR will bring together thousands of decision makers from every type of interior project including architects, interior designers, specifiers, builders & developers, manufacturers & distributors, stylists, media, retail & buyers, high end commercial clients and homeowners. With over 300 brands anticipated to present their solutions to more than 11,000 design savvy attendees the Global GreenTag has recognised Interiors Australia & DENFAIR as a vital opportunity and much-needed platform for the industry to come together, connect and do business.

OTHER KEY PARTNERSHIPS AND ACTIVATIONS INCLUDE:

Australian Institute of Architects (AIA), the peak body for architecture in Australia, are running a stage throughout the event filled with presentations from leading brands on the latest product innovations and much more. By attending the shows and stage presentations architects can potentially earn over half of their annual CPD requirements during the events. Australian Institute of Architects 11,500 members will receive free admission to the co-located exhibitions and speaker series.

Design Institute of Australia (DIA), the voice of professional design, representing the biggest cohort of interior and industrial designers in Australia, will be curating their own speaker sessions, offering CPD for attendance to the shows, and approved speaker sessions, as well as servicing new and existing members across the three days. All DIA members will receive free entry to the co-located exhibitions and speaker series.

Authentic Design Alliance®(ADA) exists to support the Australian furnishing sector by promoting the importance of investing in original design and the brands who make, sell, create and specify authentic products. ADA will launch of new Podcast series DESIGN-MADE® in Melbourne this October and support Interiors Australia & DENFAIR ensure that replica products aren’t represented on the show floor.

The Designers Institute of New Zealand (DINZ) exists to serve New Zealand’s design community and represent its interests to the wider world. DINZ will contribute to the speaker series and this partnership gives their members free admission to the co-located exhibitions and speaker series.

Kitchen & Bathroom Designers Institute (KBDI) is a not-for-profit industry group which supports Australia’s finest kitchen and bathroom designers through professional development, business-to-business networking and industry advocacy including promoting the value of engaging professional, committed designers to clients. Through this partnership KBDI will amplify the dedicated Kitchen & Bathroom Zone on the show floor and give KBDI members free admission to the co-located exhibitions and speaker series.

Good Design Australia is an international design promotion organisation responsible for managing the annual Australian Good Design Awards and other signature design events and initiatives. Good Design Australia will present an exclusive showcase of their 2021 Award winners at Interiors Australia & DENFAIR. This partnership will give Good Design Australia 2021 entrants free admission to the co-located exhibitions and speaker series.

Collarts (Australian College of the Arts Pty Ltd) is a dynamic tertiary education college full of passion, individuality and opportunity with a thriving Interior Design faculty. Focused on creating real career pathways into the creative sector for students, Collarts delivers industry-based learning coupled with strong personal and professional development. Collarts Bachelor of Arts (Interior Design) students will be designing and building the entrance feature to the shows as well as displaying their work elsewhere. The partnership will also give Collarts students free access to the shows and talks on Saturday 16th October 2021.

International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) is an internationally recognized organization dedicated to supporting its network of independent lighting design professionals who satisfy its rigorous qualification process. The IALD strives to set the global standard for lighting design excellence by promoting the advancement and recognition of professional lighting designers. This partnership will see IALD contribute to the speaker series and offer their members free admission to the co-located exhibitions and speaker series.

Next Top Designers will be presented through a curated show floor feature shining a spotlight on new and emerging designers, makers and creatives, in collaboration with design centres across Australia.

Advisory Board members spanning from award winning emerging practices to industry legends who’ve been setting the standards for the past 50 years. Interior architecture and design professionals working across all commercial and residential sectors in boutique studios to major practises. We work collaboratively with our stellar line-up of advisors to help shape the content and narrative of the shows to meet the needs of the design industry.
