Born and raised in New Plymouth, Jonty studied fine arts through his school years, including taking the Year 13 subjects of Painting, Print Making, Graphic Design and Photography.
studied under American artist Donna Willard-Moore, and received a Diploma of Art from WITT. Majoring in Graphic Design, he was quickly offered a job at a printing company in Auckland. Over the years, Jonty has worked as a graphic artist for advertising agencies and printing companies all over Auckland. Jonty’s art has been sold throughout New Zealand, with some pieces displayed overseas.
