Experienced renovator Hannah Kang has done her own interior design on two beautiful old Wellington villas, and interior designer Carley Lloyd says the most important thing is to just pick a room and start.

But do you feel ready and qualified to do your own interior design?

When it comes to the finishing touches on a renovation – paint, soft furnishings, artwork, furniture, lighting – we could all do with some expert or experienced guidance.
