From balconies in St Barts to courtyards in the English countryside, luxury outdoor furniture boutique, Coco Wolf, is changing the way we live outside. Founded in London by Kiwi expatriates Rebecca and James Lorimer, Coco Wolf’s beautifully crafted collections deftly combine the elevated aesthetic of contemporary interior design with intelligent engineering.
Starting her journey with Coco Wolf as head of international marketing in London, Kristina Storey spent years defining the brand’s ethos, developing an intimate knowledge of the product and its potential. Returning to New Zealand, Kristina saw the opportunity for a brand of Coco Wolf’s calibre to find success. With a strong eye for interior styling and a passion for luxury furniture, sister-in-law Nicky Storey was the ideal business partner, and in 2020, the pair established Wolf & South as Australasia’s exclusive boutique for Coco Wolf furniture.
"I think what sets us apart is our dedication to quality and the bespoke nature of our designs. We aren't just curating furniture, we're creating a dream outdoor space— a vision of outdoor living that is both stylish and sustainable," Nicky says.
At the heart of Wolf & South is Kristina and Nicky’s personal touch. “We work closely with interior designers to ensure each Coco Wolf piece is thoughtfully tailored to the client’s environment and tastes. We go beyond just providing a catalogue of choices. Instead, we want to curate a bespoke experience, showcasing the ultimate in outdoor style and comfort, wrapped in a resilient and innovative piece of furniture.”
Creating seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces, every Coco Wolf design can be customised to match the palette of a client’s indoor furniture.
“We offer a choice of 11 wood finishes, each with a UV-resistant lacquer that will not grey out for years to come. If designers have a particular wood finish in mind, we can match that as well,” Kristina explains.
“Each piece is crafted meticulously in England, presenting a unique narrative, with interchangeable seat cushions, fabrics from recycled sources, and sustainably sourced FSC wood such as Iroko.”
The brand has also incorporated marine-grade materials, hidden drains, and mesh in many of the designs to encourage quicker drying times and protect the furniture from the harshest outdoor conditions. These features are expertly concealed — so as not to distract from their beauty — allowing the furniture to live outside year-round.
“With Wolf & South, the boundaries of indoor and outdoor living really do blur, and the result is a space that is just as comfortable, sophisticated, and expressive as the rest of your home. Each piece is a lasting investment into a unique and expressive outdoor setting that is sure to make a statement,” Nicky says.
The Storeys now welcome clients to their new showroom at Residium (formerly Home Idea), 165 The Strand, Parnell. Recently launched, this venue showcases an expanded selection of Coco Wolf’s meticulously handcrafted outdoor furniture.
