Sidecar 24 Fire Pit Table
The award-winning team behind the eco-efficient EcoSmart Fire range has unveiled their newest model – the Sidecar 24. And as with all their fires, versatility is keynote.
The 50cm-tall Sidecar 24 fire pit is a compact, freestanding fire with a footprint that makes it particularly ideal for enhancing and illuminating smaller spaces. It has a simple but chic design, with clean lines and an ultra-modern geometric base featuring a ‘kick’ element that visually lifts the fire pit off the floor. The captivating golden flame is surrounded by a see-through recessed square glass fire screen, also available in an optional round-shape, depending on preference. Decorative media in the burner tray adds extra pizazz and further accentuates the flame.
Paying homage to its name, the Sidecar 24 has been designed to be paired with optional concrete Blinde Design Cube 24 components. Each versatile, lightweight module has been designed to perfectly ‘fit’ together. The result is a functional, easily configured coffee or side table.
“Whether you want to use the Sidecar 24 as a standalone fire pit or create an equally stunning, impactful functional fire table, this model ventless fire provides the ideal tool,” says Stephane Thomas, Director of the MAD Design group of brands, which includes EcoSmart Fire and Blinde Design. “By combining the fire and the coffee table modules, you can simply scale up or scale down depending on your needs.”
The Sidecar 24, like the Cube 24 modules, is crafted from weather-resistant Fluid™ Concrete, an incredibly strong yet relatively lightweight material. It features a stain and impact-resistant barrier that protects it from environmental weathering – even under extreme conditions and long UV exposure. There’s even an optional smoky glass cover plate for easy conversion to a full coffee table when the fireplace isn’t in use.
“We love creating fires that give consumers and design professionals the design freedom they need to personalise their indoor and outdoor living spaces, and the Sidecar 24 really reinforces this ethos,” adds Stephane. “It’s perfect as a centerpiece fire, to use alongside other furniture, or to create your own coffee table fire to suit your setting.”
The ethanol version of the Sidecar 24 is fuelled by clean burning e-NRG, a high-quality renewable energy. No mess, no soot, no harmful smoke. Kinder to you and the environment - and it means you can use the fire in indoor or outdoor settings. And in the US, UK and Europe, EcoSmart’s Triple Fuel Technology also provides the choice of plumbed natural gas or readily available propane gas, for outdoor-only gas fire pits.
