On arrival of your stay, as you make your way from the terminal, you'll notice the minimalist tactile solutions as you head through the walkway. The stainless-steel tac studs are the perfect accessibility solution to complement this aesthetic build. They provide adequate anti slip properties and act as the perfect prompt for visually impaired people upon entry to the main reception. Designed to blend into the overall look and feel of the build, the studs were easily specified through Masterspec early on by the Architect.

Tactiles are taking off at Christchurch Airport

Anti-slip solutions throughout Christchurch airport were supplied by the team at Total Tactilez over 10 years ago. Our stainless steel tactiles were placed at the top and bottom of stairs, at all entry and exits and more. This is a real testament to the quality of the product and the robust installation.

If you’re planning your next commercial build or retrofit, consider our range of Tactile Studs and Stair Nosing to complement your design.
