seek the unknown without compromise.
You’ve never been one to keep your feet firmly planted on the ground.
Yearning for an adventure of untold wonders and serendipitous encounters, you begin preparing.
After spending weeks mapping out your route and gathering your prized possessions, you’re finally ready. Turning your keys to fire up the ignition, you proceed to pull out onto the main road in the vehicle you now call home.
Nestled in the cosy confines of your luxury camper van, you find solace in the simplicity of your newfound self-sufficient existence.
Following a dirt road towards a coastline, you marvel at the beauty of the rugged landscape, barely touched, and marked with imprints of native wildlife and like-minded nomads who have made a similar journey.
Arriving at the coastline, you’re entranced by the whispering breeze which carries the scent of sea salt intertwined with the aroma of the surrounding wild bushland.
A fair distance from the nearest paved road and neighbouring town, you find yourself in a secluded and peaceful corner of the earth. Enjoying the vast, versatile and encompassing landscape.
What a place to call home for the next few days and what better place to have a moment of respite accompanied with a smooth and silky flat white.
Fortunately, you don’t need to travel far.
Returning to the van, you switched on the Linea Micra that neatly fits in the corner of your kitchenette’s cosy counter – After all, you did ensure that you brought all the essentials with you.
As the machine extracts your shot of espresso, you stand there fixated in a trance. Watching as the machine evenly pours a rich, creamy and aromatic shot.
So far so good.
With extreme concentration, you begin pouring your silky, steamed milk into your cup of espresso. Slowly and delicately, you try not to break the crema on the espresso’s surface to create the perfect canvas for your latte art.
You pause. Bringing both hands in close, you begin pouring an intricate pattern using the milk’s white and creamy foam to form an intricate pattern on top of the smooth crema.
You place everything back down on the kitchen bench and take a step back. Chuckling to yourself, you mutter, ‘I’ve done it again’ and marvel at your latte art worthy of a championship title.
Stepping back outside with your prize-worthy coffee in hand, you take it all in.
Perfectly poured latte art in the wild. Surely this must be a first.
