What began in a small office in Levin, with one phone, one container of product, and a whole lot of ambition, has grown into a national brand, trusted across thousands of projects. Today, we’re a team of 21 across four locations, with award-winning showrooms, a specialist product development division, and a deep commitment to delivering purposeful, high-performance timber finishes.
To celebrate this milestone, we’re proud to launch the newest edition of the VidaBook, a curated look at the evolution of our brand, our products, and as always, our design collaborations that have defined the last decade.
A Decade of Design, Delivered
In the 10 years since launching, VidaSpace has featured in over 5,000 projects, from coastal retreats to large-scale commercial developments. We’ve sent out more than 167,000 samples, supported the visions of hundreds of design studios, and brought dozens of products to market that didn’t exist in New Zealand before.
This new edition of the VidaBook captures that journey, not by looking back, but by looking forward. It spotlights:

VidaSpace was founded on a simple idea: that timber finishes deserve the same level of innovation, intent, and design focus as any other material in a project. Over the years, that idea has grown into a business defined by product development, close relationships, and a deep respect for craftsmanship.
We’ve built an EcoSystem that allows for customisation at every scale, from colour and format to texture and performance. Our tight-knit team works closely with clients and supply partners to co-create outcomes that are not only functional, but truly original.
We’ve never been about doing more, we’re about doing better. That ethos guides every decision we make, from the materials we source to the way we support each project long after it's delivered.
