While on campaign in Russia in 1806, Napoleon had his tent moved when advancing or retreating - complete with furniture - in order to command his troops. He really could have done with a more sturdy desk for his Adjutant, one that could be quickly packed away and reassembled as necessary.

Large brass screws are the dominant feature of this table, piercing the table top and threading into the solid oak legs. This product requires simple assembly.
