The small silver-plated rectangular tray features an elegant handle fashioned after a fully bloomed anemone. The Anemone-Belle Époque line is a modern reinterpretation of the Art Nouveau movement. Defined by a finely chiseled anemone bloom, it is modeled after the flowers that adorned the glassmaker Emile Gallé's Perrier-Jouët champagne bottles from the early 1900s.
Christofle Anémone
The Christofle Master Silversmiths and the Perrier-Jouet Champagne house combined their know-how and their artistic talent to create these exceptional pieces. This creation is inspired on anemones that decorated the bottle of the famous Cuvee Belle Epoque, designed for Perrier-Joulet in 1902 by Emile Galle, the master glass maker of the Art Nouveau. These pieces are included in the Anemone-Belle Epoque collection which is equally inspired on decorative motifs and on orfevrerie pieces produced in the 1900 by Christofle and that are conserved in the Bouilhet Christofle Museum.
