The most flexible roofing product as the widths can be varied to suit any building design, offering sharp lines and with the widest option of metals. Ribs can be lined through with the walls below and varied to suit the positions of roof penetrations and windows below.
Tray roofing is typically summed up as a secret fix roofing system. The roof sheets are generally held in place by clips fixed to the substrate, with the panels hooked and locked over the clips. This gives a clean & timeless finish to the roof and eliminates the risks associated with numerous screws penetrating products such as long run roofing.
Tray roofing has been in existence for many hundreds of years and has been developed to cope with the harshest of environments. Many European roofs are clad with such products, typically with Lead & Copper in the UK and Raw Zinc in mainland Europe. Aluminums and other metals have been in use for many decades.
Tray roofing has been widely used on high end projects in New Zealand, selected by architects for the aesthetic of simple clean lines and adaptability to suit many roof shapes.

Iconic Cladding has a strong track record of successfully completing a wide range of reroofing projects, from complex school projects and horticultural buildings to standard residential homes. Our extensive skills and expertise empower us to confidently address a variety of reroofing challenges while upholding our commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Iconic Cladding is run by Joe and Sam, who are actively involved in all aspects of the business. We are fortunate to have Colin as our business manager, who runs the office, including pricing and ordering. Przemek, our highly skilled tray roofing expert, manages the tray cladding and high-end products.
We are based in the Tasman region. The majority of our projects are located between Golden Bay and Nelson. However we are willing to travel across New Zealand for truly iconic builds, for specialist installation of custom products. We work with designers to ensure the most complex concepts are completed to the highest of standards.
Iconic Cladding are members of the Roofing Association of New Zealand (RANZ) and comply with their code of practice. In addition we take pride in our customer service and strive to do the best for our clients. We are a family focused business, offering flexibility to our staff around child care.
