Artiste Rustic Vermeer Herringbone Timber Flooring

This product is to be replaced with the Forté Artiste Grande range – Coming Soon.

Sink into the time-worn elegance of Vermeer Herringbone, a luxurious brown timber that that invites you to slip off your shoes and experience its tactile qualities for yourself. Vermeer's rustic-grade Oak wear layer has been intensely smoked, resulting in extreme darkening of the wood colour throughout together with increased colour variation. The surface is heavily brushed to reveal the natural wood grain texture, and knots and tonal differences are celebrated - not erased. Vermeer's luxurious tones are set to enrich your interior for years to come.

What is Artiste Rustic?

Artiste Rustic is a premium collection of pre-finished engineered timber flooring designed to have a rustic time-worn feel. A curated palette of five warm, contemporary colours will transform your spaces into works of art – inspired by legendary artists such as Picasso, Da Vinci, van Gogh, and Vermeer. All colours are available in 250mm wide planks, as well as Herringbone and Chevron patterns. The Artiste collection is produced in a boutique factory in Hungary, from sustainably sourced European Oak. With Artiste Rustic, natural feature such as cracks and knots are celebrated - not erased. Each plank is meticulously crafted using specialised artisan techniques such as wire brushing, hand-scraping and natural drying of knots. These techniques result in a beautiful character-filled products with undulating surfaces and deep wood-grain texture, shrunken knots and cracks and occasional saw-marks - a look reminiscent of hand-cut timber from days gone by. A durable Italian lacquer finish gives the look of a natural oil, without the need for repeated maintenance. The incredible depth and texture of Artiste Rustic products will integrate flawlessly into any classic or traditional interior, and can also be used to add character to more contemporary interiors.
