These beautifully handmade stools are modelled on the original stools used by farm workers and children in provincial China. Whether used while working in the fields or eating lunch with friends, they once provided a lightweight, versatile and easy to move seating option, now celebrated in a decorational sense.

• Expertly crafted from vintage elm wood. Reclaimed wood features variations due to salvaged materials used might include nail heads, knots, knicks and hairline cracks, showing its authentic distressed nature.
• Heavily grained wood shows the elm’s unique character.
• Just like the soft, silvery appearance you might find on driftwood, we have applied a special grey wash to this recycled elm piece to produce a sophisticated, coastal look.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. The use of chemical cleaners or furniture polish is not recommended.
