Ditzel Lounge Chair by Nanna Ditzel, 1953 from Fredericia is designed by Nanna Ditzel and Jørgen Ditzel in 1953. A welcome escape into spaciousness, the Ditzel Lounge Chair is a modern take on the traditional easy chair, offering a stylish seating solution for settings in search of intimacy.

Ditzel teamed up with her husband Jørgen to create a chair that would allow people to think in new ways as a result of sitting in new ways. Designed to be beautiful from any angle, the Ditzel Lounge Chair features a sculptural, organic silhouette inspired by nature, balanced by splayed wooden legs as a playful touch. It’s a modern take on the traditional easy chair that’s a natural fit to the human form. Adding extra comfort is the ample width, along with the slightly curved back and armrests as a single entity. The high-pressured PUR-foam shell is enforced with a steel frame and upholstered in a variety of our exclusive fabrics, including bucleé.

It’s your invitation to escape into a cosy yet spacious comfort zone, which makes the Ditzel Lounge Chair especially attractive in contexts that encourage connectivity. Such as hotel lobbies and executive suites, reception areas, high-end lounges and private residences.
