Macfie Architecture is an Auckland practice established in 2006, specialising in heritage villa and bungalow renovations, character home extensions, and contemporary new-builds. We are double ADNZ Resene Design Award winners, 2025 - New Home Award and Home Interiors Award - and previous winners in 2020 and 2019.

Led by Michael and Rebecca Macfie, we offer a full architectural service across projects of every scale - from bathroom consents to full heritage restorations. We are specialists in Auckland's heritage overlay zones, working with villas and bungalows to create homes that honour their character while meeting the demands of contemporary living.
