DNA Pendant Lamp by Next

The lighting series DNA by Next is another creation of German design duo Hopf & Wortmann. Like the organically growing structure it was inspired by, the complex form develops out of a surprisingly simple element. White, black, chrome and copper plastic modules – each with three light bulbs – can be added to each other, so the lighting object can vary in size, from a single format up to a cluster. You have the choice between seven different assembled pendant versions, a table version, a wall/ceiling version or, alternatively, a customized solution according to your needs. An extremely eye-catching and unique light fitting to impress guests in your home or to bring an organic elegance to your workplace.

“It really seems that the light source is still a reminder of the origins of things. Even if it no longer illuminates the family circle, dispersed and multiplied, it is still the sign of a privileged intimacy, attributes a particular value to things, creates shadows, invents presences ” Jean Baudrillard, Le système des objects, 1968.
