Scope of use
  • Purpose:
    A wax emulsion designed to seal vulnerable, weather-exposed end grains of timber, which absorb moisture up to 250 times faster than other timber surfaces. Helps prevent checking, splitting, and warping by reducing moisture ingress and egress.
    • Applications:
      Ideal for architectural builds where exposed ends need ultimate protection, such as: Hardwood beams, Timber screens, Laminated, veneer lumber (LVL), Laminated timber beams and posts
      Can be applied to green, dry, or Dryden WoodOil-coated timbers
    • Not Suitable For: Aesthetic faces of exposed timber
      End grains of cladding and decking before installation (as subsequent coats of Dryden oil products cannot be applied after Wax End Seal).
