ECOPlanet is a range of low-carbon cement and cementitious binders for Aotearoa’s homes, buildings and infrastructure. It provides at least a 30% reduction in carbon intensity, when compared to standard GP cement without compromising performance(1).
ECOPlanet is a blend of general purpose (GP) cement and supplementary cementitious materials, including Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS), fly ash, and may be combined with admixture technology at our speciality facility in Auckland. The ECOPlanet blend is available from Onehunga and Wellington, and will be available from Lyttleton in July.
ECOPlanet conforms with NZS3122 and is typically used as a raw material for engineered products such as precast and ready-mix concretes, grouts, mortars and engineered stabilization products.
