Eco Outdoor Sandstone Outdoor Pavers is a sedimentary rock made up of consolidated sand grains (predominantly made from quartz). These grains have been carried down the river and buried. The sediment gets packed together at a low heat over time and gradually becomes cemented into rock. Since it's created over time, it forms in layers of different colours. Hence the cut of sandstone is so vital, to bring out the natural tones and character.
Being timeless, sandstone has been used around the globe for centuries, with strong Australian ties. Sandstone pavers suit both traditional and modern designs.
We source our sandstones from regions such as Spain, Morocco and Italy, as we curate the range based on looks, durability and performance. We believe these stones form the best offering that we can provide. Locally sourced sandstone is much softer in density than what we use. As a result, these stones as pavers are supplied in quite thick formats of 50mm or more. Our stones enable us to supply formats as a tile. This allows for areas with limited setdown.
Our natural sandstone pavers offer many colours and textures, making them suitable for outdoor use. The sedimentary layers of these pavers present a unique and varied colour profile. This can be very forgiving as the sandstone paver wears. It also adds to the individual quality of each tile.
