The Escea DX1000 Gas Fireplace is the smallest of the DX Series range, the features remain the same, giving you a sophisticated single- or double sided fireplace for a smaller wall.

The DX Series combines ultra-wide flame action with Escea’s Heat Ducting Technology, which provides heat into several rooms and evenly distributes heat within the same room. At 1m or 1.5m wide these gas fireplaces make a dramatic statement. Reflective side panels give the appearance of an even wider fireplace and add to the infinite flame effect.

Customise the look of your fireplace by choosing between a variety of different fuel beds and frames. With its minimalist aesthetic, the DX Series works with any interior style.

Multiroom, Escea’s Heat Ducting Technology, captures up to 90% of the available heat and carries it throughout the house via ceiling and floor vents. The ducting technology allows you to provide heat to more than one room in your home.

Room Sealed Design

Escea indorr fireplaces are all glass fronted with power flueing, so teh room air and the firebox air do not mix. this not only helps with heat efficiency, it also makes them airtight and safe from fumes. Giving you a dry and healthy home, with complete peace of mind.

Design Freedom

Escea's Powered Direct Vent Flue uses efficient fan technology to heat the room but not the flue. The system also allows the flue to run up, down, and even horizontally - giving you the design flexibility to put your fireplace anywhere.

Double the Appeal

Escea's DX series fireplaces can be single sided or double sided. The see through, double sided fire option is a great way to connect two spaces and makes for a dramatic room divider.

The Dunedin Fireplace operated as The Fireplace for over 35 years until 2010 when it became locally owned and operated by Dunedin couple, Robbie and Pam Gardiner.

Robbie had managed The Fireplace in Dunedin over this period of time and as their Regional Technical Manager so it was an easy move for him to make, particularly being a born and bred Dunedinite. Having worked in this role since The Fireplace's inception also means that the wealth of knowledge and experience he provides is vast - dealing with customers, architects, project managers - the process is made easy because of the expertise and professionalism provided.

This also has meant that along with The Fireplace's exclusive wood and gas, we are the premier agent for Escea gas fires, exclusive agents for Warmington, Gazco, Studio, Firenzo, Ethos, Pyroclassic, Wagener Stoves, Traegar Smokers and Ziegler and Brown BBQs and agents for Metro, Masport, Woodsman, Kent, Nectre and Bosca woodfires along with Nobo Electric Panel Heaters.
