I purchased a heater from the Fireplace a couple of days before lockdown to keep my at-home office warm and wow! It’s been amazing! I wouldn’t have made it through working from home without it. Thanks so much for all the help Pam and Robbie - very friendly and efficient.

Such a great team the installers had to create a metal box for the fire to fit into my villa chimney and it is a wonderful job. Many thanks to all involved. Oh, and the fire is just glorious.

Great fire. No problems with the Fireplace as a business, but I have to say in my opinion the workmanship on the sub-contracted installation was average. The Fireplace was quick to apologise and the issue was resolved by mutual agreement.

At the end of May, we accepted a quote for a Bannockburn wood burner which could be installed with a black steel custom surround keeping the existing wooden surround/retiling the hearth and fitting a three-sided black steel border.

We wanted to keep the historical character of the villa. Only one installer was recommended to do the work to the standard required so together with the fitting into his schedule and Dunedin CC's somewhat slow process of issuing consents and final inspection for code of compliance certificate, the work was not completed until early July.

However, the work was excellent and the tenants love the huge amount of heat it produces from less wood.
