Kerlite "The New Surface For Architecture"

It's difficult to imagine a ceramic product that is totally sustainable and that is capable of elevating the quality of porcelain stoneware to levels of excellence. All this in a thickness of only 3.5 mm and the new 5.5 mm thickness which expands the technical and aesthetic potential of Kerlite, new intended uses and new finishes are now possible, with its fibreglass mesh reinforcement, today Kerlite is even more resistant, even more easy and safe to handle.

It's not easy but this material exists. So here is Kerlite, the outcome of top level technology in the field of porcelain stoneware floors and walls. A project that changes the concept of tiling and also recommended for interior floors of commercial areas subject to intense pedestrian traffic, with the exception of areas subject to heavy loads (e.g. trolleys with hard wheels).

The extremely thin structure, extra large sizes, which were unconceivable until today, and perfect flatness are obtained by means of innovative and exclusive production technology, which offers this ultrathin slab a high degree of elasticity and an unequalled resistance. In fact, Kerlite resists frost and does not absorb odours and liquid, it's easy to clean and is lighter than ceramic tiles and conventional ceramics.

Kerlite makes versatility and ease of use its strong points: Kerlite is extremely light, easy to cut and install. The slabs have a considerable resistance and can be easily sanitised.Developed for the aesthetic needs of architecture and contemporary design, Kerlite introduces the era of global tiling.

The infinite possibilities of installation of Kerlite demonstrate that there is no limit to use of this material. Since it was presented, in 2004, it has fulfilled the needs of consumers and designers that have chosen it to create highly original solutions. Prestigious references all over the world attest to this appreciation.

Kerlite, also available in the Plus version, can be installed directly on the former covering, irrespective of whether it is marble, wood, cotto, ceramics or other compact materials. The benefits include not only saving time but also money, because with Kerlite Plus you don't have to modify doors, there is no dust, no moving expenses, noise and debris disposal. These advantages are priceless.
