Introducing the Koha Prefabricated Kitchen, the ultimate solution for a hassle-free kitchen installation. This kitchenette comes fully equipped with all the essentials, including pre-wired and pre-plumbed appliances for your convenience. The 221L fridge freezer, 3-in-1 convection oven, and dishwasher are all pre-fitted and repackaged for easy transport. With the cooktop, rangehood, splashback, and lighting already installed, all you need to do is connect the cooktop to the isolation switch on site with the help of a registered electrician.
Designed to be fully or mostly assembled upon delivery, the Koha Prefabricated Kitchen includes detailed instructions for easy installation to a ground floor location. Make sure to check access to the final location before assembly. To complete the assembly process, you'll need basic tools such as a no.2 square drive, spirit level, and masking tape. Don't forget to have neutral or matching colour silicone on hand to seal the benchtop and splashback. For a seamless installation, we recommend having at least two people present due to the potential weight of the cabinetry.
Kitchenettes are created with simplicity at their core, using locally sourced products and materials in New Zealand.
The complete package is specified with quality Panasonic and Robinhood appliances, pre-wired and pre-plumbed. The finished product will be fully or mostly assembled in our East Tamaki factory and delivered to your door, saving you time and money. Simple.
No two spaces are the same, so your choices are many and varied. Kitchenettes allow you to change configurations, add a pantry, a washer/dryer combo, a large fridge or extra storage. Even the splashbacks have a wide range of colour options. Specify to your requirements. Simple.
Your alternative? A flat pack kitchenette. Not simple.
Kitchenette was the combined brainchild of father and son, Harry and Robert Tollenaar. Both had been involved in the cabinetry industry for over 20 years and wanted to create a point of difference in the kitchen market.
For those in search of a small kitchen or kitchenette, the choices include either flatpack options or a custom design from a kitchen company. The former poses challenges with assembly, time constraints, and quality concerns, whereas the latter is often quite pricey.
Simplicity was the key factor. The aim was to create a range of kitchenettes with various options that could be delivered as complete units or with only basic assembly required. These would feature branded appliances, quality materials, and electrical and plumbing components pre-fitted and assembled in our factory to minimise on-site time and costs as much as possible.
What began as a small selection of three sizes and two styles has now expanded to multiple options. Choose from a wide range of standard kitchenettes or design your own.
Design and assembly take place in our Auckland factory, with all products sourced locally.
Starting from humble beginnings, Kitchenette has established a reputation for simplicity, quality, affordability, and timely delivery. From district councils to granny flats, and office spaces to garages, Kitchenette has made its way into many lives.
While sales may have grown and life has become busier, Kitchenette still retains the same family qualities with both staff and customers. Treat people well—and keep it simple.
