We usually leave these old structural timbers as is or give them a light wire brush to clean and smooth the surface so the beautiful patina of the aged timber can be enjoyed. See all finishing options below:

  • Natural Rustic State
  • Water Blasted: Removes dirt/debris, exposed grain, clean yet rustic surface.
  • Sand Blasted: Removes loose debris, exposes grain, leaves coarse finish. (helps to uniform beams, timber can be left to grey off or be oiled)
  • Wire Brushed/ Sanded: Softens harsh edges, exposes grain, smooths defects (done after water blasting)
