NATIVE TO SOUTHERN EUROPE. Large upright shrub with aromatic leaves useful in cooking. Suitable for growing in containers and can be trimmed to shape for topiary. Great as a hedge. Prefers full sun to semi shade, well drained soils. Can tolerate exposed and coastal sites. Hardy. Evergreen.
