Less Microfiber^™ Filter (FT-MF/SA)

Help protect the planet by reducing the half a million tonnes of plastic microfibers from laundry that are released into the ocean every year*. The Less Microfiber™ Filter captures up to 98% of microplastics** released when washing, which cannot be removed by normal water purification.

**Tested at Ocean Wise Plastics Lab on the WW90T734DWH model (using Synthetic cycle, approximately 2kg load of synthetic textile laundry) comparing the amount of microfiber released with and without the Less Microfiber™ Filter installed. The amount is calculated by filtering drain water through a 50um filter.

Quick and simple to keep clean

Save time and effort cleaning the filter. The movement of the blade inside the Less Microfiber™ Filter ensures that microfibers are moved to one side to prevent the filter from clogging. Microfibers can be easily removed and only need to be disposed after every 30 uses.*

* The captured microfibers should be discarded as general waste and not washed away with water.

Extend your eco-conscious credentials beyond the ocean. The Less Microfiber™ Filter is manufactured according to the principles of environmental protection. About 90% of the plastic components are made using recycled plastic*. It is also packaged in a recyclable cardboard box.

Smart maintenance. Easy upkeep

Take care of your Less Microfiber™ Filter more easily, so it stays in the optimal condition, whatever washing machine you use. The SmartThings App* alerts you about problems with its operating status or other abnormal conditions. It also notifies you when the filter needs cleaning or replacing.
