Metalcraft's posts and rails are manufactured from 0.95 gauge prepainted double sided NZ Steel COLORSTEEL® which are robust enough to eliminate the need for intermediate rails common to timber fencing.
FENCE HEIGHT:
Standard fence heights are 1.5m or 1.8m above ground. A 600mm post hole depth is recommended, so overall the posts are 2.1m or 2.4m respectively. The standard panel width of 2.36m is suitable for most conditions.
WIND ZONE:
In high wind zones it is recommended that this be reduced to 1.6m as reducing the post spacing will further strengthen the fence against these elements. Post and rail lengths can also be roll formed to meet custom requirements, however this may necessitate that the fence sheets to be cut down to suit.
