The MonolitTM by Cecilie Manz is a contemporary and distinct chair design that elevates dining and lounge atmospheres with soft-featured elegance and a tranquil expression. Cocooning the guest in a welcoming embrace, the Monolit’s organic curves and sheltering shape offer a sense of privacy and a space underneath to safely store personal belongings.

The Monolit can be customised with a range of upholstery options and piping to establish a curated look for interiors both commercial and private. Both top and base are crafted from plywood shells in full upholstery, with a powder coated metal ring with glides towards the floor, the refined design offers solid stability for long dining experiences. Available in two heights for optimal lounging and dining arrangements.

Established in 1997, Cult (formerly Corporate Culture) formed to provide not only exceptional designer furniture, but also a high level of customer service, a combination not yet experienced in the Australian marketplace.

In his endeavours since then, company founder and director Richard Munao has built one of the most comprehensive collections of brand partners in Australia and New Zealand. Cult has grown from its first location in Sydney to now include showrooms in Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland as well as distributors in Canberra, Adelaide and Perth.
