Napoleon III Silver Leaf and Gilt Mirror C.1890
An antique Napoleon III silver leaf giltwood mirror with a pierced lattice gesso cartouche with some gilding ending in foliate scrolled leaves. Over time the silver gilt has worn and blackened to give an appealing characterful look. It is a great full length size mirror which could be leaned against the wall in a dressing room or displayed anywhere within the home.
