To celebrate Boffi’s 90th anniversary, Piero Lissoni designed the Novanta kitchen system. The recessed base, which serves as a support for the base units with finished panels, creates the illusion that the entire unit is floating above the floor. The tactile materials, from MDi to stainless steel, which cover the 300mm plinth, top and sides, are the perfect example to show how Boffi’s industrial design research has led to new types of architectural and material proposals.

It is made up of horizontal elements, the islands on which one works, and perpendicular containment elements, just like a city that develops both horizontally and vertically. Features

Carcus made of 19 mm thick wood particle board panels, suitable for damp spaces indoors and with low formaldehyde emission, treated with high performance melamine resin.

Doors & Front Panels are square edged made of 23 mm thick material, finished in lacquered, clay, stainless steel or wood.

Worktop can be 4 mm, 12 mm or 20 mm-thick stainless steel, stone-marble-granite or composite.
