XO Kitchen

Elemento

The name of Elisa Ossino’s new project is a model inspired by the timeless Xila kitchen designed by Luigi Massoni in 1972. The kitchen draws on Ossino’s creative leitmotif with geometries that combine precise lines and delicate edges. The thick Breccia Imperiale quartzite top provides for a lowering in the washing area that houses two sinks and a drip tray with a pattern that echoes the geometric shapes dear to the designer.

The top and side panels are deeper than the unit doors/fronts, framing the iconic handleless doors, which for the first time skim the floor, reaching two centimetres from the ground.

The conviviality function is not neglected as the kitchen has a peninsula in solid wood treated with oil, characterised by the circular shape sectioned on the worktop and the sculptural curve of the foot.

The same collection includes sideboards with sides and tops characterised by the same overhang identifiable in the kitchen.

Specifications

Carcass is made of 19 mm thick wood particle board panels, suitable for damp spaces indoors and with low formaldehyde emission, treated with high performance melamine resin.

Doors & Front Panels are square edged made of 22 mm thick material or AMX Door thickness 18 - 23 mm finished in lacquered, lasermat, wood, clay, corona, stainless steel, metal of De Castelli, Composite, stone-marble-granite and glass. 

Worktop can be 60 mm recessed worktop with lowered portion (Basin Effect), Square Edged worktop 60 mm available in lasermat, stainless steel, composite, stone, marble or granite.
