The most innovative and undoubtedly the most vintage. Since the wood used for this is partly heartwood, the boards have a multitude of "flaws" such as cracks, discolouration, oil stains and offer a resolutely authentic appearance. The quality of wood used for this range is a mixture of rustic A, rustic B, rustic C and rustic D. This type of aging only exists on our straight plank floors and not our parquet floors (except Versailles parquet ref 950).
The colour references of this range are subdivided into two sub-families:
The 700 Family (703/711/718)
Identical to the Campagne range in its design but different in the choice of wood used.
The 900 Family (950/951)
Including planing marks, humidity, oil stains, large gaps between the blades, open cracks and large deformation.
The width of our board ranges between 9 cm and 30 cm, with lengths up to 3m. When laid, this balanced alternation of width gives a feeling of great warmth.
Our French oak floors are available in solid wood and semi solid versions (laminated, suitable for underfloor heating systems). Whether in an understate contemporary home or in a period residence, Old Oak floors will adapt to all atmospheres and all styles of interior design, always preserving the harmony of the space.
Timeless and unrivalled, our aged French oak floors are regarded by purists as among the finest available today, chosen by architects and homeowners who demand uncompromising quality. We love old materials for their authentic charm and specialise in sourcing French oak that embodies a truly time-worn look. Through a unique and intricate reactive colouring process, these patinas develop remarkable depth and character.
